Day 15 - The End of the Adventure

This is our last morning in Croatia before we fly home. We had a lovely breakfast - I had eggs benedict which was wonderful, I don’t have it often but it was well worth it. We then vacated our room and stored our bags at the hotel before setting off to the botanical gardens.

The Zagreb Botanical Garden were established in 1889 and are a part of Zagreb University’s Faculty of Science. There are many different flora here including an arboretum, flower parterre, rock gardens and man-made lakes and pools that support marsh plants. Mum and I spent an enjoyable couple of hours meandering through the gardens enjoying the plants and fresh air. All-in-all it was a lovely ending to our Croatian Adventure.
